Different Motion of the Loom
Types of Loom Motion:
Loom has 3 types of motion:
  1. Primary motion
  2. Secondary motion
  3. Tertiary motion
Primary motion
Primary displace has 3 types. They are:

A. Shedding:- The procedure of making shed is called shedding.it is the procedure of separating the warp yarn into 2 layers to shape a tunnel which is called shed, is known equally shedding.

B. Picking:- The method of passing the weft threads traversely through warp yarn is called picking.

C. Beat up:- The procedure inward which yarns are sent to the cruel of the cloth is called compaction up.

Secondary motion
Secondary displace is inward 2 types:
  1. Take upwards motion
  2. Let off motion
Tertiary motion
Tertiary displace is non necessary for cloth production. The 3rd motions are:
  1. Warp goal motion.
  2. Weft goal motion.
  3. Reed goal motion.
Loom motion controls the cloth production.by using these displace weavers tin create unlike types of fabrics.
