Introduction
The forcefulness of H2O2 is expressed inwards 2 ways-
- Volumetric
- Percentage (%w/v)
For example: If 1cc of H2O2 liberates 100cc oxygen at S.T.P. The forcefulness of H2O2 volition live called 100 volumes H2O2.

Percentage (%w/v): This is the weight of H2O2 per unit of measurement volume. This is to a greater extent than usually used inwards our country.

Calculation:
2KMnO4 + 3H2SO4 + 5H2O2 → K2SO4 + 2MnSO4 + 8H2O +5O2
Molecular equivalent weight of H2O2 = 17 gm
So, one 1000 ml Molecular equivalent weight is 17
1ml molecular equivalent weight is = 17/1000 = 0.017 gm
In 500 ml H2O the total of sample (H2O2) is 2.5 ml
So, 25 ml of H2O the total of sample (H2O2) is = (2.5 x 25) / 500 = 0.125
Normality of KMnO4 is 0.1 northward
And book used of KMnO4 is 21.75
