Silaï | An Embroidered Table



SILAÏ yesteryear Belgian designer Charlotte Lancelot reinterprets the “petit-point” mode embroidery through its rugs as well as accessories.

The collection is straight off expanded to include 3 side tables of natural colouring oak. Each tabular array is provided amongst an engraved lite relief using dissimilar drawings inwards club to render continuity amongst the collection’s emblematic stitching.




“The carpeting provides the primary framework for the collection, field the other elements tin slot easily into the grid as well as rectangles defined over its dissimilar parts,” explains the designer. 

SILAÏ received a RED DOT accolade inwards recognition of its arts and crafts based technique where the passage of time, the tending as well as patience required for its production are reflected, combined amongst its contemporary design. The result: lite slice of furniture accessories, comfortable as well as uniquely designed.
