Behind Closed Doors is a novel solo exhibition from beguiling painter, Pete Hawkins at The Outsiders gallery inward Soho, London. The gallery kickoff introduced Hawkin's hold upwards inward slowly 2011 amongst Every Day’s a School Day, a collection of childhood aspirations painted on peculiarly sourced schoolhouse desktops. Behind Closed Doors takes Pete’s procedure of icon on institute materials a piddling further; featuring miniature modern fables painted on antique doors. Each icon possesses a slight undercurrent of uneasiness nowadays inward both Pete’s hold upwards as well as the close memorable folktales from one’s childhood.
