Spotted this clever hack inward the
Inside Out Magazine this calendar week (their Renovating & Decorating Guide 2012) using cake stands from tabular array legs in addition to china. Using an epoxy adhesive to gum together, the legs were painted first, thus the plates were glued to the wooden legs (note unopen to of the bases (saucers) are placed upside downwards to hit visual remainder in addition to greater stability).
