Before As Well As After: Mid-Century Asymmetrical Dresser

Guest shipping past times Nicole Phillips of Visual Heart

This mid-century modern dresser was picked upward a few weeks agone at a Summer yard sale for a steal. It sat inward our living room for a piece until nosotros finished a few other projects too figured out what nosotros were going to create to it. It originally came amongst two mirrors that had broken frames, were bulky too weighed a ton. Luckily nosotros managed to sell the beveled mirrors too made dorsum our coin on the dresser purchase! Who knew in that location was a marketplace seat for vintage beveled mirror.

I am totally inward honey amongst the lines of this mid-century piece, the asymmetrical pattern has too thus much grapheme too allows for displaying books or plants inward a unique way.
The surface of the entire slice was inward horrible condition, scratches, H2O impairment too missing trim. Very trivial forest veneer was salvageable, too thus nosotros sanded it all down, patched too filled all the areas that needed it too primed it amongst CIL Smart3 primer. The knobs too pulls were super cool, merely too inward fossil oil cast amongst the white enamel coming off too the brass peeling badly.

A top coat was applied inward high-gloss Benjamin Moore Advance. The drawer fronts are Mantis Green too the torso is Snowfall White. The legs too forest cut down were sanded downwards too stained with danish oil inward lite walnut to add together or too thus contrast to all the white. Lastly, the hardware too feet were primed too painted amongst metallic element copper spray paint.
